Family Friday
Thanks to our lovely parents for coming in to play with us this morning! It was great to have you all visit! We love Family Friday, looking forward to the next one already!!! 🙂 🙂
Fancy Dress
The children have been doing lots of learning about fancy dress and the festival of Halloween. We have been dressing up as lots of different superheroes and characters. We loved colouring pictures to do with our theme. We built towers to the witches castles and made lots of different potions during water play. We created a witch using different coloured paper and we also wrote about the character. In Gaeilge we learned lots of different vocabulary and we even got to taste some barm brack!
Drumboe Woods
We had a fabulous day in Drumboe Woods. We loved seeing all the changes that took place during autumn and collecting lots of wonderful things. We were so lucky that the weather was beautiful. We even got to make a wish inside the wishing tree. We loved our trip!!! Here are some photographs and a little video clip for you to share in our fun 🙂
Post Office
For Aistear time this month we will be completing lots of activities to do with the post office. We’ve been having so much fun in our very own post office. We’ve also been wrapping presents, weighing parcels, creating a village for the postman and designing our own stamps! Click on the link!
