Planting
We have been learning about the different factors plants need to grow. We have each planted our own Freesia flower and will implement these factors to help make our flower grow. We have also been learning about photosynthesis and had fun learning how to spell the word.
Textured Flowers
In Art, we studied different types of flowers. We each chose our favourite and re created it using lots of texture. We think they turned out beautifully.
Ancient Egyptian Play
Thank you all for coming to our class play on Friday, we hope you enjoyed it!
We are very excited about performing our class play on Ancient Egypt this Friday the 20th of May at 9.15 a.m. sharp. Just to keep you to date on costumes etc.
Mummifiers–> all white
The ‘Children’–>dress for going on holidays to Egypt
Pharoh and Pharoh’s wife–> costumes have been organised
Vizer, Scribe and Craftspeople–> a dressing gown/robe
*All other children can dress in an Egyptian style i.e.lots of jewellery and bright colours
I will have lots of extra jewellery that the children can avail of.
I am however looking for 1)white/cream/yellow bed sheets 2)white bottoms/trousers/shorts/skirts 3)dressing gowns.
Please put your childs costume or any of the above in a bag and label it with their name to avoid confusion.
